Yogis from around the world I present to you my #HANDSTAND !!!!! I think only yogis and gymnastics know that this pose requires a lot of practice and discipline ! I'm very happy to finally (after two years of practicing yoga) being able to hold the handstand for a micro second 🙈 the only tip I can give you is don't be AFRAID because that's the biggest #limitation. I started practicing the handstand 5 weeks ago, I would do five tries on each leg everyday until one day my body lift a little and that was motivating so I kept on going. I realized that I had to strengthen the muscles surrounding my spine, the core, arms so that all these muscles would help me hold the pose. There is one thing I didn't knew you needed for a handstand and that's flexibility. You have to try the standing lifts before you go into handstand I believe this would be the first preparation pose!! But I encourage all beginners and intermediate practitioners to try it out and loose fear of falling (if you learn how to fall into a back bend you'll be fine) and discipline some poses require 5 minutes of your time some require 5 months!! Tag us in you handstand attempts I wanna see you all trying 😜😜😜😜 #yogagt #yogagtgoestocalifornia #napavalley #napa #vines
