The reason I began practicing yoga was scoliosis (A sideways curvature of the spine). I was training for a half marathon and the sore in my back was so terrible I had to stop runnin . Some one recommended yoga and swimming for the back pain, so I decided I would give yoga a try. That was the last time I remember having a back pain, when people say "yoga changed my life" it's hard to believe working out can change your life. But in my case yoga literally changed my life, from constant back pain to NONE pain at all. I'm so grateful yoga found me, thanks to yoga I've been able to run three half marathons 💪🏻 You can notice in this picture my left hip is out of place and my shoulders are not aligned. When @monodeleapacio was taking the picture he was telling me to align my hips, little did I know this pose was impossible for me to archive due to my back problems. Anyway I encourage everyone with back problems to try yoga, the stretching and balance helps a lot. Don't give up ✨💫✨#yogagt by @maroehr
